In the Spring (12 June -- 25 July 1999), the Gang of Seven
presented its second In the Fullness of Time benefit. This
took place on Saturday, 12 June and Sunday, 13 June, as PMW
opened an exhibition of the distinguished artist, Paul
Cadmus.
*THIRTY-FIVE
YEARS OF SKETCHES - From 1965 To The Present, by distinguished
artist PAUL CADMUS, depict a body of work never before viewed.
The sketches symbolize the unique on-going collaboration between
Paul Cadmus and cabaret performer/model Jon Andersson. Represented
internationally in major museums and collection, Paul Cadmus
is uncompromising throughout his continuing career in depicting
the male nude in paintings using egg-tempera techniques and
in drawing, using a variety of mediums. This exhibitions exemplifies
his adroit mastery of the quick sketch with colored pencils,
crayons, and pen and ink.
